We collect information to provide a seamless and premium laundry service marketplace experience. This includes:

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you, such as:

• Name: To identify you as a user or vendor.
• Email Address: For authentication, order confirmation, and updates.
• Phone Number: Verified via OTP for account security.
• Physical Address: For laundry pickup and delivery coordinates.
• Photos/Images: If you choose to upload a profile picture.

Location Data

To facilitate precise pickup and delivery, the mobile application collects and uses precise location data (GPS). This location information is used solely to assist you in setting your address on our maps and to coordinate courier routes. We do not track your location in the background when the app is closed.

Payment Information

All payments are processed securely through Paystack. We do not store or collect your payment card details on our servers. Your payment information is provided directly to our third-party payment processor, whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.

Device and Log Data

We automatically collect information that your device sends when using the mobile application:

• FCM Token: Device identifier to send you push notifications about your order status.
• Crash Logs: Sent to Firebase Crashlytics to monitor stability and fix bugs.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage patterns sent to Firebase Analytics to help us improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for various purposes, including:

• To provide, maintain, and improve our Service.
• To manage your account registration and authenticate your login.
• To process transactions, manage payments, and handle order pickups/deliveries.
• To send you transactional notifications regarding your orders.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or bugs.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information with trusted third parties to facilitate our Services:

• Firebase (Google): For user authentication, cloud messaging/push notifications, database storage, crash reporting, and usage analytics.
• Paystack: To securely process payments for orders and wallet funding.
• Google Maps API: To resolve geographic locations and display map coordinates.
• Courier Services: To share delivery addresses with courier partners for order delivery.

4. Your Rights and Choices

You have control over your data. Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Accessing the personal data we hold about you.
• Requesting correction or deletion of your personal data.
• Withdrawing consent to use location permissions or push notifications.

Account Deletion & Data Removal

You can permanently delete your account and all associated personal data (including your name, email, phone number, address, and transaction history) at any time.

• In-App: Go to the Profile screen, tap "Delete Account", and confirm your request.
• Web Portal: Visit our public deletion page at https://mylaundry.live/delete-account, log in with your credentials, and submit the deletion request.

Once request is submitted, your data will be immediately and permanently deleted from our databases.

5. Security of Data

We use standard industry security measures (such as HTTPS/TLS transport encryption and secure local storage on your device) to protect your personal data. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will immediately delete it from our servers.
